Two years ago, basketball came to The Greenbrier’s famed Colonial Hall for the first time, joining golf, football, tennis, boxing, wrestling, lacrosse and others on the list of sporting events staged at America’s Resort. Now, Intersport and The Greenbrier are taking the hoops experience to a new level with an early season men's basketball clash between Marshall University and Radford University. It will be border battle as Marshall and head coach Dan D’Antoni represent the state of West Virginia against Radford and head coach Darris Nichols, a former West Virginia University point guard, representing the state of Virginia. The action will take place inside Colonial Hall, and the energy promises to be something special as the teams hit the hardwood in front of a packed venue.
Ticket prices are $75 for courtside and $40 for general admission. Student tickets — available only to current students of Marshall University or Radford University — will also be $40, but each student section will have a reserved baseline location. Anyone over the age of 2 will require a ticket. Children 2 and under will be complimentary but must sit on an adult ticket holder's lap. Click here to purchase tickets.
