PGA TOUR Releases 2010 Tournament Schedule
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The 2010 PGA TOUR FedExCup schedule announced Tuesday will again feature 37 Regular Season events to be followed by four PGA TOUR Playoff events for the FedExCup.

WVGA Amateur Championship Moving to June in 2010
The 2010 West Virginia Golf Association Amateur Championship will be played June 21-24 at The Greenbrier. The West Virginia Amateur Championship features the top 100 amateur golfers from across the state. With The Greenbrier Classic scheduled for July 26-August 1, the Amateur, previously held in early August, moves to June.

Old White Course Modifications Underway in Preparation for The Greenbrier Classic
Modifications to the Old White Course are underway at The Greenbrier in preparation of the 2010 Greenbrier Classic. Resort officials have worked with Lester George of George Golf Design, the firm that restored the course to its original 1914 design, as well as key individuals in the PGA TOUR’s design services and agronomy areas.

McNeely Named Tournament Director for The Greenbrier Classic
The Greenbrier Classic, the PGA TOUR, FedExCup event that will be played at The Greenbrier next year, now has a tournament director. West Virginia native Tim McNeely, who has extensive PGA TOUR experience, will be the resort’s key executive in managing and developing the event.

Weekly Badges for The Greenbrier Classic Now on Sale
In July 2010, the world’s top golfers will convene in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia for The Greenbrier Classic, a PGA TOUR, FedExCup event. This nationally televised event will be played on the historic, links-style Old White, The Greenbrier’s first 18-hole course and the oldest course on the TOUR. Golf fans can select from several badge options now available for purchase for access to this exciting event which will be held July 26 – August 1, 2010.

Greenbrier County Takes Home Three Awards During the 2009 WV Governor’s Conference on Tourism
Lewisburg, WV (September, 24, 2009) – On Tuesday, September 22, two Greenbrier County tourism organizations, The Greenbrier and the Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors Bureau, walked away from the 2009 WV Governor’s Conference on Tourism with three Stars of the Industry Awards.
