Virtu Sandblasting Experience
Receive an education in the art of sandblasting at the Virtu “Made by You” Studio located at The Greenbrier Art Colony Shops. During this introduction class, Virtu staff will guide you through the design process, completed by blasting the surface with fine sand propelled by compressed air. The process gives the glass a beautiful, frosted appearance. Your glass creation will be ready to take home as a lasting keepsake the same day.
This creative introduction to sandblasting is perfect for children of all ages and is offered for individuals or groups. Tumblers, stemless wine glasses, pint glasses, and glass mugs are all available for your creation.

$15 -$18 per glass
Tax and Historic Preservation Fund are additional.
Policies & Must-Know Information
- Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are appreciated. Reservations are subject to maximum class size availability. Reservations must be canceled 24 hours in advance of the activity, or the full cost of the activity will be charged.
- Participants must be at least three years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult if under 18.
