Carriage Ride
Take a step back into our storied past as you explore the grounds the way travelers did more than a century ago — from the seat of a horse-drawn carriage. When the weather is warm, watch the lush landscape of The Greenbrier bloom all around you under sunny skies. Experience the magic of a 50-minute carriage departing from Kate’s Mountain Adventures located at the North Entrance.

Private Carriage during regular hours | $458 per carriage (seats 4)
The pricing above includes 6% West Virginia sales tax and 9.75% Historic Preservation Fund. Gratuity is not included.
Policies & Must-Know Information
- Reservations must be canceled 24 hours before the time of the activity. Guests will be charged the full cost of the activity if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the start of the activity. For corporate and special events, reservations must be canceled 72 hours before the time of the activity.
- The 50-Minute ride is available April – November. The 20-25 minute Winter Carriage/Sleigh Ride is available January – March & December.
- Departs from Kate’s Mountain Adventures located at the North Entrance.
- A release form must be signed prior to this activity at Kate’s Mountain Adventures.
