Billy Winters – Director of Instruction
Billy Winters has taught for the Golf Digest Schools from 2003 to 2008. During this time he has served as Lead Teaching Professional at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach, Fl, The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV and Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club in Lenox, MA. Through his teaching, Billy works with people of all abilities, ages and gender, including nationally ranked juniors, collegiate and mini-tour players. While working with Golf Digest, he also taught for corporate events throughout the country for clients such as: Conde Nast, CNN, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Diamond Exchange, National Land Partners, Tag Heuer, UPS and many more. Billy has written instructional articles for Golf Digest magazine and was featured in the Breaking 100, 90, 80 articles of the August 2006 and the January 2008 issues. To get to where he is today, Billy has studied and trained under three of the Top 100 teachers and much more:
- Registered into the PGA of America
- Callaway Golf Staff Member
- Accomplished player with ample tournament experience
- Participated in state opens and state amateurs as well as pro-ams nation-wide
- Placed 2nd in the 2007 West Virginia Open qualifier
- Was captain of Pittsfield High School golf team and led the team to two Conference titles
- Born, raised and educated in Massachusetts
