Get Draperized with Carleton Varney
Join us for a two-day celebration of legendary designer Dorothy Draper’s greatest accomplishment, The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Called “Romance and Rhododendrons,” the project was the single largest hotel renovation ever achieved, requiring 45,000 yards of fabric and 15,000 rolls of wallpaper. Take a tour with Carleton Varney, Draper’s protégé, now president of The Dorothy Draper Company, Inc. and author of In the Pink, a book devoted to the designer’s style. See for yourself what Varney meant when he said, “What Coco Chanel was to fashion, Dorothy Draper was to decorating.”
