White Sulphur Springs, WV - February 5, 2014: The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia's Allegheny Mountains will be hosting a Women's Weekend, March 27-30, 2014, which will celebrate women with talks on empowerment, relationships, sex, style and cooking. A variety of fitness activities, special shopping opportunities in The Greenbrier's Retail Collection, and an evening gala will round out this last weekend in the first annual Discovery Series at The Greenbrier. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Mountaineer Autism Project.

The weekend's activities will include:

The Greenbrier Circuit: Strength, Stretch & Stride
This two-mile walk through The Greenbrier's beautiful grounds will be led by The Greenbrier's Fitness Instructor, Janna Oxendine.
Mastering Your Metabolism
Connie Gottshall, Registered Dietitian with The Greenbrier Clinic, will share new information on women's metabolism and how small adjustments can help impact everyday life.

Culinary Demo & Luncheon: Super Demo with Super Foods
Sue Moats, a member of The Greenbrier culinary team, will hold a culinary demonstration on healthy combinations of food that make a difference in healthy living. A "Super Foods" - inspired luncheon will be served following the demonstration.

The Type E Woman: Everything to Everybody
Judith Seifer, Ph.D., R.N., one of America's leading sex experts, will provide a rousing lecture in the Eisenhower Room that tells women what is essential and how to achieve it.

Fun Run/Walk from the North Entrance
The best way to experience The Greenbrier's vast outdoor space is on foot. This early morning outdoor fun run/walk will be hosted by The Greenbrier's Fitness Manager, Josh Beverage.

Spring Forth Your Best Image
Cyndy Porter, image consultant and visual specialist, seeks to bring a woman's inner beauty out by incorporating fashion trends and new looks to overcome personal body challenges.

What Makes You Tick...in the Crystal Room

Women's Weekend Shopping Spree
The doors will be open to all Women's Weekend attendees with discounts in The Greenbrier's Retail Collection. A portion of the proceeds from all items purchased between 2pm and 8pm will benefit participating charities.
