White Sulphur Springs, WV - January 16, 2014: The Greenbrier, the classic American destination resort in West Virginia's Allegheny Mountains, is dedicating the fourth installment of its first annual Discovery Series weekends to romance in honor of Valentine's Day. From February 14 to 16, the "Romance Weekend" will celebrate The Greenbrier's storied romantic history.
For couples who may be planning a wedding, Monte Durham, special guest celebrity wedding consultant and fashion director of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, will also be at the resort to host the "Say I Do" wedding event at The Greenbrier on February 16.

Dinner and Dancing 
The Walter Scott Trio will perform nightly in the iconic Main Dining Room during an elegant, romantic dinner and dancing event (jacket & tie required).

Daily Ballroom Dance Lessons
For beginner dancers, a First Steps class will be offered in the Cameo Ballroom; and for those who are just a bit out of practice, a Polished Steps class will be taught in the Colonial Lounge.

"Massage for Your Loved One" in the Crystal Room 
A massage skills demo will be conducted by seasoned massage therapists from The Greenbrier's five-star mineral spa. Robert Hunter and Catie Boyd will guide couples through a step-by-step lesson on some of the key techniques that will melt away stress and promote relaxation.

"Wine for Lovers" in the Prime 44 Vineyard
Brian W. McClure, Wine Director/Sommelier at The Greenbrier, will host a tasting event highlighting local Virginia wines.
Mixed Doubles Strategy Clinic at the Tennis and Fitness Center
This tennis clinic focuses on drills, strategy and point play associated with mixed doubles.

Culinary Demonstration at The Greenbrier Gourmet
Participants will learn preparation techniques of savory dishes that can be made at home, as well as learn some professional short-cuts to make entertaining a breeze.

"Wines and Chocolates" in the Crystal Room
Wine Director/Sommelier Brian W. McClure will walk guests through a tasting experience of various styles of chocolate paired with unexpected wine.

The Greenbrier Discovery Series is a collection of eight themed weekend events hosted by industry personalities such as: design guru Carleton Varney, Curator of The Greenbrier; a team from the hit PBS show, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.
