Volunteer Registration Open for The Greenbrier Classic
The 2017 Greenbrier Classic will be held July 3 through July 9 on The Old White TPC Course at The Greenbrier, and the PGA TOUR FedEXCup event is looking for volunteers. More than 1,400 volunteers are needed to make the award-winning tournament go, and the perks of volunteering make the opportunity one that can’t be missed.

Ross Wins Second West Virginia Senior Open at The Greenbrier
The West Virginia Golf Association has handed out West Virginia Senior Open trophies four times. Half of them have gone to John Ross.

WVU Gold-Blue Spring Game at The Greenbrier
More than 6,000 fans turned out at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center on Saturday, April 23, for the annual Gold-Blue Spring Game, the final practice session of the spring for the West Virginia University football team. Learn more

The Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational
The Greenbrier hosted 17 collegiate golf teams on the Old White TPC course for a 54-hole tournament. Golf legend Gary Player spoke to the participants before the start of the two days of play. East Tennessee State University won the event for the second straight season. Learn more

The Greenbrier Hosted College Soccer Friendlies
The Greenbrier hosted Marshall University and James Madison University for a spring soccer match. Area youth were also treated to a free soccer clinic with the Marshall coaches and players. Donations made at the clinic went to benefit Mitsy’s Wings. www.mitsyswings.org

4th Annual Cabin Fever Chili Cook-off
Love of chili and charity kept the good times flowing at The Greenbrier Sporting Club’s 4th Annual Cabin Fever Chili Cook-off, which raised $6,867 for local charities. Five teams and their guests traveled in from near and far to participate in this year's event.
2015 Dream Tree for Kids
2015 marks the fifth year that The Greenbrier will hold its “Dream Tree for Kids” holiday gift drive, which will donate more than $1 million in toys to charity. 33 pints donated to the American Red Cross
Following its lifesaving blood supply efforts during WWII, the Red Cross introduced the first nationwide civilian blood program. Today, the Red Cross each year collects 6.5 million units of blood from approximately 4 million donors nationwide, and distributes over 9 million blood products for transfusion.
