New Mountaintop Course

New Mountaintop Course

For the first time ever, four of the biggest names in golf – Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player and the late Arnold Palmer – agreed to team together to design a new course that will be a part of The Greenbrier's newest neighborhood, Oakhurst.

Ground was broken on the new 8,042-yard mountaintop course on Oct. 26, 2015, with all four golf legends in attendance. Construction on the course was delayed by the 2016 flood, as attention had to be turned to restoring the courses that were already in place first. A new opening date for the mountaintop course is still to be determined.
