Nikki Bowes


Nikki Bowes, SommelierNikki Bowes is a White Sulphur Springs native and third generation employee of The Greenbrier. After attending college at Radford University and Bluefield State College, she graduated with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts. Throughout college she worked at various restaurants in several different positions, which ended up inspiring her passion for food and beverage. After college, she moved back to her hometown and in 2007 began work as a server in The Greenbrier’s Main Dining Room. In 2010, she was promoted to Service Captain. Along the way, Nikki increasingly became interested in The Greenbrier’s wine program. In 2011, she began work as an Assistant Sommelier in the Main Dining Room and finished at the top of her class in a wine course offered at the resort. She then began to work on her certifications with the Court of Master Sommeliers and achieved the level of Certified Sommelier in the spring of 2013. Nikki has been the Sommelier at The Forum since 2012.
