Katelynn WatsonKatelynn began her journey into the hospitality industry nearly 12 years ago, working as a waitress at a small, family owned restaurant in her hometown of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She then pursued her passion for culinary arts at The Pennsylvania College of Technology located in Williamsport, PA.

During her junior year of college, Katelynn enrolled in a “Wines of the World” class taught by one of her favorite professors which was the spark that ignited her growing passion for wine. Katelynn moved to West Virginia in May of 2017 shortly after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Systems. She slowly started studying wine again and passed her introductory sommelier course in November through The Court of Master Sommeliers.

In June, she passed her Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 exam. Working at The Greenbrier allows Katelynn to further her education and dive deeper into the world of wine while sharing her passion for the hospitality industry with guests and fellow co-workers.
