Latrobe of Baltimore designed the first free-standing unit in what came to be known as Baltimore Row in 1832. The resort was then owned by the Calwell family from Baltimore and eventually the entire row was owned by Baltimore families. After the Civil War, Robert E. Lee and family summered in Baltimore G cottage.
In recent years Baltimore Row has been upgraded into multi-bedroom accommodations with private baths and porches overlooking the north lawn. They feature two to four bedrooms with king and double bed options. Each cottage also has a wet bar, perfect for entertaining guests.
